Important Update: Legends Is Moving to Email-Only Communication

CJ here from the Legends customer support team. We’re reaching out with a big update on how you will receive communications from us going forward.

Legends will be moving to an email-only communication system. This means we will no longer send text messages for login codes, daily workout links, or customer support updates.

What’s changing?

Beginning July 1, 2026:

  • One-time login codes (OTPs) will be sent to the email address associated with your Legends account

  • Daily workout links will be delivered to the email address associated with your Legends account

  • All customer support inquiries should be submitted through the help chat system on your Legends account or emailed to [email protected]

⚠️ ACTION REQUIRED: To ensure the smoothest transition, we recommend making sure the email address on your Legends account is up to date before July 1, 2026.

Why are we making this change?

As Legends continues to grow, we've found that email provides a more reliable experience for families.

Many families experience issues with text messages, including:

  • Login codes that never arrive

  • Messages filtered as spam or from unknown senders

  • Accidental unsubscribes that prevent future messages

Moving to email helps ensure important communications reach you consistently, supports our growing international community, and keeps all Legends communications in one easy-to-find place.

We understand you might have some questions, so we’ll do our best to answer some now:

What if I already use my email and a password to log in to Legends?

You can continue using your email address to log in, but you will no longer need to remember a password. Instead, we'll send a secure one-time login code to your email whenever you sign in.

What if my account has two parents’ phone numbers listed?

Each parent can continue to receive Legends communications at the email addresses associated with their parent profiles. Both parents can access the same Legends account using their own email addresses.

What if only one parent on my account has an email address listed?

You can add or update email addresses at any time in your account settings.

Can I still use Legends on my phone?

Absolutely! As long as you have access to your email, you can continue using Legends on your phone just as you always have.

My inbox is already crowded. How can I make sure I don't miss Legends emails?

We recommend:

  • Adding Legends to your email contacts

  • Creating a dedicated folder or label for Legends emails

  • Marking emails from Legends as important or starred

  • Adding Legends as a VIP sender in your email app

  • Turning on notifications for emails from Legends

Will I still receive notifications on my phone?

Yes. Most email apps allow you to receive notifications from specific senders or VIP contacts. Once configured, you'll receive a notification whenever Legends emails you, even if you've disabled notifications for other emails.
